Why Articles are So Valuable to your Blog

We tend to underestimate how great article marketing really is.  It is one of the most worthwhile efforts you can put into your blog, and the payback you will get is really great for your time expediture. Generally, you will spend about 45 minutes writing an article.  Sometimes a little longer. And here are some reasons it is worth your valuable time.

Article marketing is free. You write your article and submit it to a directory, and most directories are free. There are some article submission sites such as Isnare that charge for your submissions.  Experiences will vary but this author has had better results with the free submission sites.

Many don’t realize that articles will generate traffic to your site for a long time.  You will find yourself actually getting visitors from an article you wrote 2 or 3 years ago.  

So in essence, you are still building visitors to your blog from an article you wrote a couple of years ago, which leads us to the point - that’s a lot of visitors coming to your blog over time from just one article.

It is important to note that if you don’t write your own articles, you can always buy them at a reasonable price, and as long as they are good, you will benefit as though you had written them yourself.

As your visitors will continue to see the articles you have out there from yesterday or a year ago, the traffic is actually unstoppable. When other blog owners or webmasters like your article, they will publish your article or link to it bringing you even more traffic through the back door as it were.  And of course, these links will improve your search engine rankings.

So if you happened to be thinking that article marketing is a waste of time, you may want to reconsider.  Many bloggers are doing very well with their blogging enterprises using their articles to bring in their traffic and readers, and the visitors from just one of your articles will actually compound over time.
